Guide
Getting started with Memoca
The whole loop in six steps: capture, organize, enrich, practice, and let the AI help.
1. Capture phrases
Drop in anything you want to remember: a word, a full sentence, something your tutor said. Paste a list and every non-empty line becomes its own entry, or add them one at a time.
New captures land in your Inbox by default, so you never have to decide where something goes before you save it.
2. Organize into pages
Pages group related phrases: a lesson, a trip, a topic. Each normal page has a fixed source language; the Inbox is mixed-language for quick capture.
Move entries between pages whenever you like. The AI agent can reorganize in bulk if your Inbox gets messy.
3. Let Memoca enrich
In the background, Memoca writes each entry's pronunciation guide, English translation, and a short grammar note, so you're not building flashcards by hand.
Everything it generates is editable. Use the per-row Re-generate action if you want a fresh pass.
4. Practice with spaced repetition
Memoca's FSRS-based scheduler surfaces what you're about to forget. Open Practice from Home or a page, reveal the answer, and grade yourself Again / Hard / Good / Easy.
Tap the speaker on any card to hear the phrase read aloud. Cards you've truly learned graduate out of the daily queue.
5. Work with Memoca AI
The chat agent knows your workspace. Ask it to generate phrases on a topic, move all your food vocab to a new page, or bulk-tag last week's captures.
It proposes changes and waits for your approval before touching anything.
6. Plans & limits
The Free plan covers the full loop with a 200K monthly token allowance. Pro raises that to 2M, increases per-page entry limits, and adds CSV/JSON export plus the pronunciation coach.
